Hikma center for dialogue and cooperation hosted The Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) delegation in Najaf which is led by the former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari, the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. The delegation included the Former EU ambassador to Iraq Ilka Ousitalo Founder of the European Union Mission in Iraq 2006-2009 and Mr. Husain Al-Taee the responsible of the Iraqi file in the initiative. The purpose of the visit was a preparatory study of the situation in Iraq after ISIS, and Najaf was the starting point for the settlement of the conflicts and finding solutions to the current crisis situation and after defeating terrorist organizations.
It is worth mentioning that this initiative has been set up two years ago and developed a strategy studies to find solutions and reforms.
