His Eminence Sayyed Salih Al-Hakim received a delegation from the Republic of Somalia included Mr. Abdul Salam Beshir Abdul Salam, Undersecretary of the Somali Finance Minister, Mr. Yasin Mahmoud, Governor of Busaso Province, Mr. Abdul Razzaq Ahmed, Advisor to the Governor of Busaso Province and a group of university professors at the headquarters of the Center in Najaf.
His Eminence Sayyed Salih Al-Hakim gave a brief overview of the role played by the Center in the field of humanitarian and cultural dialogue, and discussed the scientific and religious importance of the city of Najaf, represented by the Hawza. His Eminence quoted some of the words of The Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakeem, including the words that the delegation focused on which is “We do not need to invite people to Shiism, we do not preach toward proselytizing, but we explain to the others the culture and tolerance of our religion,”.
