Kalima Center for Dialogue and Cooperation organized a program for the delegation of German journalists to Najaf, headed by Mr. Simon Jacob, president of the Oriental Christians Consultative Council in Germany and media in the German media network. The program included a visit to the office of The Grand Ayatollah His Eminence Sayyed Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakeem. His Eminence spoke about the usefulness of the visit of foreigners in terms of exchange of ideas and cultures, stressing that the media and journalist should look for the truth because some of the malicious countries wanted to obliterate and omit some of the symbols and sanctities of Iraqi society.
The delegation then visited the office of the Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Basheer Al-Najafi, and met His Eminence Sheikh Ali Najafi. His Eminence spoke about the common principles of the heavenly religions And the need for an awareness campaign for the society to prevent it from drifting behind political conflicts to maintain peace within society
After that, it was followed by the meeting of the Secretary General of the holy Abbasid holy Shrine Sayyed Ahmed Al-Safi. His Eminence spoke about the role that international societies should play in reducing the phenomenon of extremism and violence, stressing the necessity of intellectual and cultural cooperation between Iraq and civilized countries.
