A delegation of of Iraqi media managers visited The office of His Eminence, the Grand Religious Authority Sayyed Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakim, in Qom. They were received by His Eminence, Sayyed Riyadh Al-Hakeem. During the meeting, they discussed the mechanism of communication between the religious authorities and the media and how to strengthen and develop them in the country.
The delegation presented some information about the activities that are carried out by their institutions, as well as the problems that they face in the media work, especially in the field of religious programs. His Eminence spoke to the delegation and stressed on the importance of communicating with the religious authority and learners to ensure the dissemination of the authentic religious culture in the society. His Eminence stressed on readiness to support social programs that serves the needy families.
He also stressed the important commandments pointed out by his Eminence in his speech, including:
1.Draw Attention to the meetings and visits among media professionals.
2. Utilization of specialized academic cadres such as university professors and media professionals.
2. Inspire the spirit of optimism and self-confidence of the participants to continuously challenge the current stage.
4. dealing with the negatives in a constructive spirit.
5. Confirmation of national unity and Iraqi reunification.
6. Monitor social problems that other channels cannot offer and seek treatment.
At the end of the meeting, His Eminence promised to activate the role of informers to fill the gap in media institutions
