The delegation of Hikmeh Center for Dialogue and Cooperation has participated at the activities of the global week for harmony among religions which sponsored by the United Nations Mission to help Iraq ( UNAMY ) and Kufa University and the organization of education and culture and sciences in United Nations (UNICCO ).
The conference that has held on the hallof Kufa University was dedicated for the subject ” promoting reconciliation and forgiveness in the community ” , a set of personalities have participated in it , they represented the Iraqi religions and doctrines and official foundations and civil society organizations, the first day is the beginning of the program that continues for sex days after Najaf in Baghdad and Erbil .
Samahat Al-SayyedSalih Al-Hakeem , the president of Hikmeh Center announced ” the efforts of United Nations Mission are positive and thanked to this seeking toward treating the subjects of harmony and dialogue , and to promote this role , we participated at first day , we will have a participation in other day too , we are represented by seven personalities , Samahat Al-SayyedHashim Al-Awwady has participated by a speech included the focus on the role of civil society in peace building and take the initiative towards positive direction for the authority and community service “.
It was worth mentioning that the center work to build relationships and friendships with foreign entities to define Holy Najaf and its humanitarian and scientific heritage , it has achieved distinctive steps at this field .
