The senior researcher at Oxford University Professor Toby Mitchson visited College of Arts at the University of Kufa accompanied by a representative of Kalima Center for Dialogue and Cooperation and met Dr. Alaa Al-Rahimi, Dean of the College and heads of departments where the two sides discussed the enhancement of academic cooperation between the two universities. The researcher also talked about the reason behind his arrival to Iraq and the book he intends to write about the Islamic sects in general and the Shiit in particular, and for his part, the Dean explained some of the things related to professor’s research and the history of the College and the activities undertaken by it. At the end of the meeting the professor thanked Dean for the hospitality and valuable information that he got.
